Uritsky rocks. Tourism in Ukraine

In the Skolivsky district, near the village of Urich, in the valley of the Urichanka river, there is one colorful place that is very popular among tourists – the Uritsky rocks. A place that holds many mysteries, this is indicated by wooden monuments, sculptures, carvings on the rocks themselves in the form of various hieroglyphs and images, which, apparently, are symbols of the sun.

Uritsky Rocks is a natural and archaeological monument. The rocky formations are a product of the erosion processes of Paleocene sandstones. They reach a height of fifty meters, mostly have a rounded shape, which, due to tectonic movements, was stratified and formed suspended walls. During archaeological research, scientists discovered here multiple elements of the buildings of the ancient Russian fortress "Tustan", which protected local residents from the Tatar-Mongol yoke. There are many underground passages, grottos, and wells.

The Uritsky Rocks blend harmoniously into the beauty of the local nature. The local forests add color and, combined with the rocks, make up a beautiful composition, which is one of the components of the historical landscape complex "Tustan" of the national Nature Park "Holy Beskids". This place is very popular among tourists.

Erosion processes also played a role in the formation of various rock forms. Here you can see places that are very similar in structure to honeycombs, some places with fairly clear rounded bulges, on the contrary, there are depressions of no less rounded shape, nature has done its job and given the rocks a variety that attracts the tourist's gaze. Naturally, it was not without a human hand. The monument is distinguished by a wide variety of petroglyphs. These are various symbols of the sun, different images, and hieroglyphs. A very interesting petroglyph is an image of a human face, which reaches a height of two meters. It is carved on one of the rocky formations, has an oval shape, the outline of the face is represented by moon-shaped depressions. No less interesting are the petroglyphs – "horseman on horseback", "wolf" and "moose", "dancing men", "mountains of plenty", "wheels of Jupiter".

There are many interesting wooden structures, metal, ceramic, glass, leather goods and many other household items found on the territory of the monument, which testify to the long–term residence of people on the territory of the fortress "Tustan".
"Uritsky rocks" is a very interesting and exciting natural and archaeological monument that will tell you a lot about the history of their inhabitants. But many mysteries have not yet been solved, do not miss the opportunity to discover something new and add your name to the history of exploring this attraction. https://casinoudennemid-dk.com/
